This is latest certification for data engineering from azure introduced in mid-21.
Earlier to get the data engg associate we need to complete two certification which were dp-200 and dp-201.But from Jun-21 Microsoft decided to combime then in DP-203.
The syllabus for the certification below.
- Design and implement data storage (40-45%)
- Design and develop data processing (25-30%)
- Design and implement data security (10-15%)
- Monitor and optimize data storage and data processing (10-15%)
There many courses available since data engineering skill very high in demand and high paying skill.
Data engineering stack on Microsoft provides all the required tools and services to work on large scale data engg projects.
There are many courses online to prepare for the certification.

I like the Udemy course since its more on topic and the price of the course is very cost effective.
The instructor have covered all the topics to get all the knowledge for questions asked in exam.

Microsoft also have their official training program for this certification.
The thing is we need to be active learner for this training and have dedicated time while learning from Microsoft in comparison Udemy are mostly videos and shot slides which we can learn easily in chunks.
The course have all the topics which are required to start data engineering projects.
This training is for those who want to go deep in the topics just not complete the certification exam.

Coursera:
Coursera have the also the course from Microsoft on there platform which provide the specialization certification.
This is like middle blend between Udemy for visual and Microsoft for in depth topics.
This is little costly and will require to complete almost 10 different courses to finish it.

There are other vendors also which have courses for DP-201 and DP-202 but they have not modified there courses to DP-203 yet so we can’t mention them here yet.
